Alex carries out psychological assessments and develops tailored interventions to help clients address feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger, and stress.
In the 20 years since gaining his initial undergraduate degree in psychology, Alex has applied the skills in different ways — as a community mental health support worker and a counsellor, working particularly with asylum seekers; in business and working for the NDIA, gaining insights into how the NDIS machine works.
“I’ve been struck by how a small change or a small positive can make a big difference,” Alex says.
