Caryn loves finding that human connection. She’s worked across different continents and cultures in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, community settings, corporate environments and even on Queensland mines doing what OTs do best – helping people do the things that matter to them.
For a child it might be playing that matters most.

For a mature-aged person it might be showering without help.

How can you support people?

Having worked in South Africa (with 11 different national languages!), the UK and Australia, Caryn has had the privilege of working with people of many different cultures and languages. She knows what it feels like to adapt so that others can relate to her, and can empathise with those who need to work hard at being understood.
