November Topic: Self-Care within the Health Care System
Our speaker in November will be Lot Keijzer, Therapy Pro National Head of Social Work and she will present an introduction to self-care to help you increase your resilience within the health care system.
Lot is an experienced Mental Health Social Worker, with over 15 years experience working with individuals and families. She has a specific focus on family relationships, parent coaching, mental health, and skill building. Lot’s background is mostly in providing therapeutic interventions to clients with mental illness or in providing support to those who care for a loved one with mental illness.
Self-care is more than a bubble bath and a pedicure! Lot is going to share proven and supportive strategies that you can use to ensure that you avoid burn out – this webinar is particularly focused on those individuals who find themselves within the health care system. This could be a parent or carer of a loved one requiring ongoing health care, or a support worker or support coordinator within the NDIS space, or an allied health therapist.
If you spend a lot of your time navigating health care and are feeling stressed or on your way to burn out, then this webinar is a must-attend!
Join us on 17 November at 12pm (AEDT).
**All our webinars will run on Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). Please confirm your local time before attending the webinar.**
