Lisa is available to work with Therapy Pro child and teenage clients, and their families, to help develop their abilities in activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as community access and social activities.ADLs include aspects of selfcare (such as personal hygiene, dressing and mealtimes), playing, engaging in learning activities, and making friends.
Lisa comes to Therapy Pro with a strong background in supporting child and youth mental health, and more than a decade working in the education sector championing inclusion.
Lisa often uses play with her young clients. As she puts it, “play is a risk free way to learn skills. When you enjoy doing something, you’re motivated to use those skills in other ways”.
