Get to know Marie K
Marie has over twenty years’ of experience working with adults and teens. She has project managed a program for asylum seekers aged 13 – 25 (in the UK); and managed a team of Youth Support Coordinators (in Qld High Schools). Marie’s strengths lie in generalist social work; mental health (adults and teens); and adolescents disengaging from school.
Marie worked in a high school counselling role for eleven years; and has experience as a Mental Health Clinician with Queensland Health and as a Child Safety Officer. Her vast experience allows her to confidently identify, assess and improve complex situations for her clients.
Marie is developing skills as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner and keeps her skills up to date by attending a minimum of twenty hours per year of professional development. Marie looks forward to working with you and your family in a therapeutic capacity for participants of the NDIS and the Primary Health Care Network (PHN).
