The Therapy Pro Accelerate Graduate Program is designed to support your transition from graduate to professional. We know that stepping into the workforce as a new graduate can be daunting, but our wrap around support model and structured 6-month graduate program will accelerate your learning and set you up for success.
The Accelerate Graduate Program focuses recent graduates on developing excellent, well-rounded clinical skills, through a mix of self-paced activities, group sessions, guest speakers, masterclasses, supervision with experienced senior therapists, mentoring and buddy opportunities, and professional coaching. You will be exposed to clients across the lifespan (including paediatric clients) to build strong foundations within the community. From there, you can determine where your preference is.

Your first 6-months at Therapy Pro
Our Accelerate Graduate Program has been carefully designed across 6 core stages to ensure you gain the knowledge, skills and confidence you need:
Induction
Welcome! Meet with your new team and learn from people across Therapy Pro about our unique working environment, our culture, values, and gain fundamental knowledge about working as a therapist. Here you gain the foundations to ensure you feel like you belong and can succeed.
Onboarding Coaching Program
We have a strong commitment to a holistic approach to personal and professional growth. Each therapist works with a professional coach who will guide you by utilising self-reflection practice. Coaching will help you focus on your areas of development and set you on a personalised course to build your knowledge, skills and behaviours as a therapist.
Graduate Intensive
Our Graduate Intensive consists of 12 topics tailored to the needs of new graduate therapists. From understanding the disability experience to working in a commercial environment. You will learn about our Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) program, working in multidisciplinary teams and how to maintain work life balance. This course is intentional in its structure, so that there is gradual building of self-management and clinical skills from week to week; finishing with a number of real-life case studies with complex presentations.
Work Shadowing
Learn from experienced clinicians across all disciplines by observing them in sessions with clients either in face to face or telehealth therapy. Work shadowing will help you understand each therapist’s role more fully with a real focus on developing your knowledge of client-centred practice.
Building Connections
The program fosters professional relationships, friendships and networks by building connections with colleagues in the Graduate Program and across the whole Therapy Pro team, providing opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration and client work and offering training and support to build external relationships with stakeholders in the sector. As part of the program you will be able to engage in fire-side chats and Q&A sessions with our leadership and executive team, sharing learnings, experience and building connections.
Clinical Supervision & Support
As a recent graduate, you receive discipline-specific supervision from an experienced clinician and regular contact with your lead therapist, plus a wide range of therapy-specific colleagues and therapists outside your clinical area as part of a strong multidisciplinary team. There is a layering of support from a wide range of people in Therapy Pro’s wrap around support model who become your personal cheer squad!
