Diana is a University of Queensland graduate.
“Early interventions can be impactful, but they need to be easy to implement as part of the everyday routine and fun for the child: I enjoy working out what ‘fits’ the family lifestyle,” Diana says.

Diana is available to work with Therapy Pro adult and child clients, assessing and addressing challenges that impact language development, social communication, swallowing, mealtime management and literacy. She can also prescribe technological aids to provide alternative non-verbal communication.
Diana has practical community experience working with babies, toddlers and under 5s – and their parents – addressing language delays.
Diana has worked with adults recovering from traumatic brain injury, including stroke, supporting recovery of speech and safe eating practices, and she’s helped adults and children overcome or minimise stuttering.
During orthodontic treatment as a teenager, Diana developed a lisp.
It made her self-conscious and frustrated – and set the course for her professional career.
“While it was minor in the scheme of things, it was major for that younger me and it also made me think what it must be like for people with more profound speech difficulties,” she explains.
A high school work experience placement with a speech pathologist confirmed Diana’s hunch that speech and language pathology was her destiny.
