Sleep is one of the hardest life skills to work on with your children. Sleep helps our brain function well, keeps our emotions in check and reduces our chances of becoming sick. Our Bedtime Guide has been developed by Therapy Pro for Kids’ Lead Early Childhood Early Intervention Therapists, Penny and Jodie, to support children and their families during bedtime. The guide includes tips for identifying signs of anxiety at bedtime, how you can help your child, creating a restful room and a printable routine chart.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic illness involving your central nervous system (CNS). The immune system attacks myelin, which is the protective layer around nerve fibres. This causes inflammation and scar tissue, or lesions and can make it hard for your brain to send signals to the rest of your body. MS is the most common neurological disease that typically presents at an early age, adolescent years.
On MS Awareness day people are encouraged to bring awareness, share their stories and help people to understand how to help those with conditions that are not always visible but can have a significant impact on quality of life.
Jan Coleman, Therapy Pro Melbourne Social Worker, has been very brave in sharing her story.

But there’s a difference between a fussy eater and a problem feeder and the likelihood of problem feeding rises when disability is part of the equation: up to 85% of children with developmental disabilities, for example.
Starting school for the first time, changing schools or returning to school can come with a range of differing emotions. Children can feel excited, overwhelmed, anxious, unsure and relieved, all at the same time. Parents can feel exactly the same. Here are some tips the Therapy Pro team put together to reduce anxiety, from their professional and personal experience of being at school.
