As an occupational therapist with Therapy Pro, Rachel is a ‘daily life specialist’ who’ll work with clients of all ages to improve their daily living functions—bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, walking—as well as school, workplace and community involvement.
She can also provide aids and equipment assessments and may make recommendations for minor modifications at home to improve independence and safety. Rachel has also worked
with teenagers, focusing on emotional regulation, mindfulness and self care.
Rachel has experience in hospital, community and school based environments. In fact, the school experience moved her so profoundly, seeing the difference occupational therapist could make to children’s learning and participation, that Rachel stayed on as a classroom volunteer.
Rachel is a natural collaborator who listens and is keen to share and learn, taking a team approach to their care needs.
