Scott is passionate about working in partnership with people and those important to them. The focus of his therapy is to assist people to be able to exercise choice.
Scott is experienced in supporting people to meet their complex and simple assistive technology needs, 24-hour positioning (beds, chairs, cushions) and complex pressure care solutions. He is confident and experienced in working with people who are nonverbal or may have behaviours of concern, having worked for years with people who have had a severe acquired brain injury.
Scott has worked with adults with disability in a wide variety of settings (home, hospital and rehab) to overcome a wide variety of barriers to their daily functioning. He partners with people and their families as they seek to live life in the manner they want. He advocates for his clients to get the best outcome.
Scott brings a calm, personable, family-centred approach to working with people from all backgrounds and cultures. His years of experience have given him the confidence to bring his skills to a multidisciplinary team to get the best outcome for the people he works with.
